Sometimes when people think of *Travel* and vacations, they think about international destinations or places near a beach. My first journey to the Mountain Time Zone in the United States took place last week when I attended the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Conference for the first time! On May 30, 2018, I flew out for a week trip to Cartagena, Colombia and it was nothing short of amazing. Aside from the long customs line when entering the country, the entire trip was truly smooth sailing even though we barely spoke any Spanish (they were super patient with us and the Google Translate app was a lifesaver.
